Which one to book
Zillow 3D is the practical choice when the listing's traffic is coming from Zillow and you want the tour badge on the portal. Matterport is the stronger option for higher-priced homes, relocation buyers and anything where measurements and a dollhouse view genuinely help — condos, unusual layouts and larger houses.
A 2D floor plan is included with every photo shoot, so most agents add a tour on top rather than buying the floor plan separately.
Why it works in DC-area homes
